Which hours leave your week, and which two approvals stay.

Outsourced accounting and bookkeeping services still have to say what remains yours.

What can go

Matching the bank can leave. Coding ordinary purchases can leave. So can the worksheet you build before Texas sales tax is due.

What stays is approval of bills above a line you set, and the question a stranger cannot answer, such as whether a deposit was a loan or a sale. While those questions are still a pile, the evenings should stay where they are.

The two that stay, marked

The strike is the offer. The ink is the limit. Your own week may not look like these five rows, and that is useful to see.

A week, hours struck or kept
  1. Monday nightMatching the bank after the doors close
  2. TuesdayOrdinary purchases, coded while the week is quiet
  3. Before the 20thThe sales tax worksheet
  4. staysStays with youA bill above a line you choose
  5. Also staysNaming a deposit as a loan or a sale
Struck rows are hours that can leave. Ink rows stay, because they need you.

A week is not a license

Crossing hours off a week is ordinary work and the person doing it holds no CPA license. Audits, reviews, compilations and other reports on your statements stay with a firm that holds one.

Payroll can be set up here on a provider that stays in your name, and you run it. This desk doesn't press the button on payday and doesn't stand in for you in an examination. All of it is written out on the disclosures page.

Breadth on a short week

Breadth here is the matching and the return coming from one close. Height is the two approvals staying high enough that you still decide, rather than discovering the decision in a report.
